It’s always nice to have a little more ‘poke’ at play time, and CFMOTO makes 62hp from the 800cc liquid-cooled fuel-injected four-stroke V-twin, which is married to a CVT transmission. Torque is 72Nm. The ZFORCE 800 TRAIL has two power modes, as well as two- and four-wheel drive with front locking differential. Four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes stop the SSV on a dime.

The suspension travel has increased by 26mm (up to 255mm) on the front, and at the tail end the magical ‘300’ mark has been eclipsed with 305mm travel. Fully adjustable gas shocks with remote reservoirs are the ultimate in bump-absorption, and a 254mm longer wheelbase provides exceptional stability – while maintaining extraordinary corner-carving agility.
The driver gets a new five-inch LCD display, dual-mode electronic power steering, and a flat-bottomed steering wheel, while the passenger feels more assured during the hurly-burly with an adjustable grab bar. Both occupants get improved and adjustable sports seats and 3-point safety belts, as well as beefier half doors.
Standard highlights include a ROPS certified cage, tow hitch, 26-inch tires, extended fender, 3500-lb winch, while there are accessories galore – from skid plates to nerf bars, bumpers, half and full windscreens, a rear cargo box, aluminum roof, snorkel kit and audio system.
A five-inch digital instrument display adopts an all-new UX design. Two power modes of SPORT and NORMAL feature unique information displays in varying color schemes and selectable user interfaces. The color of the display bar will follow when the vehicle accelerates, adding to the dynamic excitement of driving. Standard Bluetooth connectivity even offers phone call notification, so you don’t miss a thing.
